Hot or cold fill?
Most machines these days are cold fill only. This makes them cheaper to manufacture, and also,
as machines these days don't actually use much water, the water rarely has time to heat from the
hot water system anyway, so the machine would have to heat it anyway.
Capacity
When choosing your washing machine, consider the size of your average load.
6KG capacity is suitable for most families, but if you have young children, you may be
better off opting for a 7KG capacity.

Spin Speeds
Washing machines have spin speeds from around 800 rpm to 1600 rp/m. A few machines
will have even greater spin speeds. Basically, the higher the spin speed, the dryer
the clothes should be. Washing Machines will not normally spin at the top speed for
long, and it is arguble about how much difference a hundred revoultions per minute
will actually make.
